The original stuff is green, I believe this was the stuff Van Gogh was on when he chopped an ear off! We can get this in Europe, Its strong as hell and get very drunk very quick, no hallucinations though!

It's not illegal in the US but it's not the real stuff. If you get, there is actually a process. You need to get a cube of sugar, put it on a spoon (sometimes provided with the bottle) and slowly pour the absinthe over the sugar into the glass. It is suppose to "release the green fairy". Personally, I thought is was so so. Pretty expensive and it tasted a bit like Jager. We bought a bottle for our home bar over a year ago and still have half of it left. The hype is over rated IMHO. I would recommend spending the money on a good bottle of tequila.
WOW.... Thank you NakeyAwesome! If it's good enough for Van Gogh it sounds perfect for a Boobs Cruise! Just keep the knives put away.. Too many delicate bits exposed at that time and we're not souvenir hunting.
