Dori, are you talking about pop up ads here on the message board ?? or do you mean on other websites? Because there arent any here and if you are getting them whilst on the forum then it may be that you have some sort of spyware/adware on your PC (probably been to too many dodgy porn sites!) If that's the case then two good free utiliies are: Ad Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy these will scan your computer and remove spyware / adware if you have any installed.
Don't care for the Spybot one...have it on the laptop...we do have adaware...only thing is...for all the times the kids jump on during the day...we get more...so unless I run it like 5 times a day...still happens... And I NEVER had a problem till kids started using the AOL aim thingy...and all they sites THEY go to get em....I only go here and to the bank..rarely go anywhere else!! Dori, Install the newest version of Spybot S&D and use the Inoculate function. It will keep that stuff from getting put on your machine.
