I was notified via Expedia today that I had an issue with my return flight on Oct. 25 with Frontier Airlines. When I called Expedia they said that I would have to call Frontier, when I called Frontier they told me my flight back to Seattle on the 25th was impossible, so I either had to cut my trip a day short (hell no!) or I could leave a day later (daddy likey!). So now I am on the hold with Expedia to tell them they need to cover my resort expenses for an extra night!
Glad this was posted as I went and checked our Delta flights and they too had been changed! However, we now leave ATL 10 minutes later and arrive in CUN 7 minutes earlier...haha
Little trick with usair. At exactly 24 hours before your flight they release the exit row seats and sometimes others. So you should get on then and move your seats together.
Does that really work? I have the same problem on our flight to Cancun. Not as far away, but still not sitting together. Totally bummed seeing that when I logged in. Definitely will try this!!
Virgin changed our flight time heading to LA on the 16th of July, I called and they allowed us to return on the 19th at no extra charge even though the Saturday flight was originally $150 more per passenger. Nice to have 3 extra nights at Temptation.
Depends on the airline and how many they give to frequent flyers first. For usair it worked for me two weeks ago to Vegas and last year to cancun.
We use usair a lot and this definitely works, but you have to do it right away when that 24 hr mark hits. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So, is 24 hrs from the actual flight departure time (I fly from PHX to CUN on this leg mid AM) or at 12:00am the day before the flight?
