I understand first time visitors having to talk with them. Our first time we did and got the layout of the resort and all the information needed etc. after you tell them you're a repeat visitor and you're not interested they should not hound you about it.
Our first trip was in July. We got our room right away (no stalling tactics) and they gently guided us over to the sales desk. We listened politely for 5 minutes, signed up for a tour the next morning, and went to our room. The next morning, when we were supposed to be at our tour, we were instead drunk and half-naked at the sexy pool with our new drunk, half-naked friends. No one ever called us. We saw our appointment/tour lady several times during the week and she was nothing but polite to us - and never brought up that we stood her up.
