A couple of weeks ago at TTR there was a Canadian dude that spoke English, but it was defiantly more French. I am normally good with accents, but I also have a slight hearing problem, and rely on reading lips to figure out what people are saying when there is lots of background noise. The combination of my hearing problem, his French influence, and both our drunkenness made conversation very very hard. However, we hung out a bunch during the week, and my wife would say "I have no idea how you are talking to him". I guess we really weren't, but it is hard not to talk to someone who is giving you a big hug every time he sees you.
Two Words - Justin Bieber  We are still pissed about that. I need to visit your fine country one of these days to figure out how you actually live in a place where winter is 9 months long! I mean it has to be right? Having spent a couple of years working in Fargo which is the frozen armpit of the universe from November through May, Canada is even further north and cold right? I have also spent a lot of time in Northern Minnesota where I learned they have only 2 seasons, Ice Fishing and Mosquito. I think I have learned how to speak your language with all the exaggerated O's as in bOat and sOap, and every sentence ends in "eh?" right? Looking forward to sharing a few Labatt's with some of you folks later this month and we can discuss further eh?
