We purcase a bottle of Clase Azul several years ago, it is still in the bar un-opened. Is this a good tasting Tequila. It came in a painted ceramic decanter.
Maesto Dobel is sometimes hard to find. If you can't find it you might try Casa Noble or Milagro. However Maestro is THE best as far as I'm concerned. Cheers Will
I don't know about all of you, but Im sensing we need a Tequila themed night....have the vendors bring in examples of what youve all posted here...can you imagine the fun?
That would be fun. We were at Secrets Silversands last year and they did that. Unfortunately many resorts either don't carry premium tequilas or charge extra for it. Secrets did have Don Julio so it was all good for me! This is our first trip to TTR so we don't know first hand what they carry that's why I'm bringing some!
I believe they have Cuervo Gold as top shelf...which amazes me when you think of all the brands they could choose....and they have el jimador...and then really cheap sh**/ un sure of brand name...
Brand name familiarity and marketing are the two biggest reasons. It's the same reason some people get upset that the house beer is XX instead of Corona. In my opinion (if you see my name) XX is a better overall beer but isn't as popular north of Mexico, therefore people usually want that instead.
Last year they had 100 Anos but said it was only for members....and tippers, I guess. They gave me that everytime.
