Kris and Jason, I've just found another website dealing with assistance to our troops through an email from a friend:
Thanks Michael. I was actually a Soldier's Angel for the past two years. It was through them that I was able to adopt soldiers that didn't normally receive mail. I sent out at least one care package a month and emailed regularly as well. Since the mail system out of Mexico isn't exactly the most reliable...I have found other ways to offer my support, in leiu of care packages. Thanks so much for passing along information!! Kris
janie passed to me this touching video dedicated to our men and women in uniform: http://www.youtube.com/v/ervaMPt4Ha0&autoplay=1 "Remember Me" by Lizzie Palmer I posted a Powerpoint slideshow about two weeks ago also dedicated to our fighting men and women and entitled "Remember It Well". Please remember our troops who are apart from friends and family.
god bless them all! my sorority adopted a soldier and we all send him letters once a week... and we sent a care package recently too my prom date is in iraq right now too... scheduled to be home in 2 months though... we can only hope
A mate at work has a son who serves in 3 Squadron, Royal Airforce Regiment and recently returned after a a 6 month tour in Iraq.... This is a compelation of their 'antics ' whilst out there, very funny in my eye's and safe for work. &mode=related&search= Ian
