Now that Desire Los Cabos is Temptation Los Cabos, we've modified our "Desire Los Cabos Couples" Yahoo group so that it's now a place for couples interested in going to Temptations Los Cabos during "Desire Weeks". The group's new name is Desire Week Couples at Temptation Los Cabos and its new URL is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DesireWeeksCouplesatTemptationLosCabos/ Because it's not a month- or year-specific group, if one year you plan to go to a Desire Week at Temptation Los Cabos in May and another year you plan to go a Desire Week at Temptation Los Cabos in September (or perhaps both May AND September ) you'll be able to stay with the group and just keep adding your dates. Please note that since Desire Weeks are for couples only, only couples will be approved to the group. Hope you'll join us. ottawa_cuple PS: What are "Desire Weeks"? They're specific periods at Temptation Los Cabos during which the Desire Resort Couples only - clothing optional concept and Desire amenities will be in place.
Desire weeks canceled We had a reservation for the scheduled Desire Week July 2-7. After many inquires I finally received the e-mail pasted below today. I have not contacted them yet, but will be expecting a full refund of my deposit. "Please be informed that due to marketing strategies the hotel management has decided to cancel the Desire Weeks due to marketing strategies, so the Desire weeks Jul 02 to 06 and September 03 to 08, 2009 are cancelled. If you have any confirmed booking please report it to the reservations department immediately, you will be contacted by the hotel guest services manager to offer you several options to accommodate your clients. The only Desire week that the hotel will hold is May 20 to 25, 2009. Sorry to hear you got shafted, though we're not surprised. We got similarly shafted when Original Resorts changed Desire Los Cabos to Temptation Los Cabos after we'd booked, and without notifying us. We were able, with the help of our wonderful travel agent, DennyP, to move our reservation over to Desire Cancun at the same rate we were going to be paying for Desire Los Cabos (much cheaper than the Desire Cancun rates at that time) which helped make up for the penalties we paid to change our flights over, but we still weren't impressed. Our "Desire Weeks at Temptation Los Cabos" Yahoo group will be closing down shortly after the May Desire Week unless Desire Weeks at Temptation Los Cabos suddenly come to life again, which we highly doubt, and wouldn't trust anyway.
