:lotsofmichaelfs:Every resort is what you make of it. We have stayed in a couple of questionable Cuban resorts, and if you go in with a positive outlook and are intent on having fun you will. If I have booze, basic food and some fun loving people (have naked at that) you will have a blast. Now that I think of it, as long as there is booze you can make the best of everything

This is our seventh time to Cancun and only the second time returning to the same resort. We are just normal people who like to get away from life for a week. It's the one week out of the year my wife can shut down and not have to worry about someone other than herself. TTR is by far the most fun we have ever had on vacation ever. As long as the two of you have a strong relationship with no underlying trust issues, you'll have a great time.
If you're referring to my comment about the service, I just wanted to clarify. I didn't say it was bad, but compared to our first 2 years there, we didn't think it was as good as it had been. But obviously that hasn't stopped us from going We love TTR! I just wanted to give the original poster my honest opinion.
Never once had any problems with any of those things. Have struggled on occassions with hangovers, lack of sleep,sunburn and a sore face from smiling and laughing like a fool with friends. Just go you will never regret it
