A list of "must brings" for the first timer?

    Steve has now got a supply of orange wristbands, but last year he didn't, so just get an orange wristband just in case you can't get one from Steve, it identifies you as a Cancuncare "member" and help you find loads of friends from Steve's Cancuncare website! Without them last year we would not have found half as many people from this site. xxx

    I just bought a teeeny bikini.... hope I have the guts to wear it! im sure I will be brave when I see others wearing their micro suits

    That is such a good idea, has anyone noticed if they sell energy drinks in the nearby shops?

    Pharmacy over the road sells red bull for $38 pesos (just under $3 dollars). They sell it at the resort for a higher price, but it's not by that much, only $10 pesos or such.

    To add to the list, I'd recommend bringing insect repellent. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes on our second day, because even though I brought loads, I stayed up all night and forgot to apply it!

    We have found that Skin So Soft from Avon works the best for the bugs in mexico....smells better too. :)
