Hi folks, we're a family of 5 due to be staying at an AI in a couple of weeks. 1. Is it possible to visit other hotels (non-AI) and is there anything worth seeing or doing in these other hotels. 2. What movies are being shown in Cancun at present 3. Do the hotels show movies and if so, are they recent. 4. Is there anything to do with kids, if you're on a budget and just want to do something to keep occupied. The main trips are so expensive. Grateful for any advice offered
The movies playing here are pretty new. But they will change by the time you get here, so it's a little silly to ask what's playing now. Most theaters here show films in their original language with Spanish subtitles. But sometimes they dub them into Spanish, when they do the showing is labeled "doblada." Most hotels have restaurants and bars that are open to the public. The beach is also public property, so you can walk it until your thighs fall off. If you're talking about hanging out at other pools, that may be an entirely different story.
