Playa Lancheros is the first place that comes to mind. On the west side of the island, looking towards Cancun. They are famous for their tikinxic fish, a Mayan specialty. GOLF CART question. Can somebody give some tips on the best place to rent a golf cart? If you know of a place(s) that I should avoid, let me know. I have heard many horror stories about time share sharks working out of the golf cart rentals. I do not want to deal with any of that. Do I have to leave my Drivers Lic. when I rent a cart? We always use Prisma rentals, about a block to the left of the ferry dock. 450 pesos for the day and yes, you leave a DL as a "deposit" for the day.
