Wishes, Wonders, & Who Dats...Monster Wishes and Weekend Passes!!​

 

Airlines booked and Weekend Passes covered. Looking forward to seeing you all again!!

 

Our passes are purchased, and we are ready to go (with the exception of costumes). Definitely looking forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting the new friends that are joining us this year.

We hosted a Make-A-Wish fundraiser last Saturday evening that raised over $7K for Make-A-Wish of IL, and that amount will be included in the final tally for the Wishes, Wonders, and Whodats group. Can we top $100K this year? Easy to do if everyone puts in some time and asks for some contributions. There is no contribution too small, and they all add up. Start small, and build from there. We had a similar fundraiser last year that netted $3500, however we have plans for next year on how we are going to top $10K in 2016.

A special shout out to Guy and Jennifer from the board for their help in making the event a success.

We loved it the year we were able to go.....but now we have trouble with this time of year because of the kids football schedule. We have one in high school that plays on Friday nights, and one in college that plays on Saturdays. It is sooooo hard to get away during this time right now. We will return in the future, but not this year . I still keep up with the thread and watch the events unfold!!!! Love you Rob!!

With over 200 people expected this is sure to be not only the largest gathering of cancancare people but the best as well. From the looks of it this group will raise over $100,000.00 this year for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Again, it's not too late to be a part of it all. Simply contact Allison and Chris get your weekend pass - Even though all of the rooms in out allotment at the Hotel Monteleone have long been sold out ..... There are plenty of other hotels with rooms available on that weekend
