Great job! Bourbon Balcony will be a blast, and the party may last within a couple of hours prior to getting ready for the parade.

Hey, this looks just awesome! It's only like a 9 hour drive from St Louis, haven't been to the Big Easy since 1982! Love Pat O'Briens dueling pianos, and Preservation Hall, cold Dixie beer and fresh shucked oysters on the sidewalk at Streetcar Named Desire Cafe (if it's still there?)

love to have you - if you would like to stay at the same hotel with all of us just let me know and I will put you in touch with someone who can get you a great room rate at just $145 per night

I think there may be some others from the st Louis area joining as well :)

We just booked 4 nights! Flying in on the 5th and leaving on the 9th. Room price quotes were $179/night for lower level rooms, and $209 for upper level rooms. She didn't say how many rooms were left in the hotel. Looking forward to this trip.

Awesome! I was in New Orleans in the summer of 1982, back when the drinking age was still 18 down there!:partyhorn: I was thinking about something more on a lower budget scale though:sofa:. I think there is a YMCA close to Bourbon St. if memory serves me correct? Allways remember grandpa talking about "eatin' at the Y" way before anyone ever heard of those creatures called The Village People..
