michelle is from kenner, La and her favorite part of the weekend is the sunday jazz brunch and michelle works extra hard to make sure the sunday jazz brunch goes off without a hitch

she lives there so her opinion on the best restaurant is very valuable and her favorite is Jacques-imo's and her favorite new Orleans food is sloppy roast beef or shrimp po' boys

Her favorite super hero song Superman by five for fighting and her favorite super hero character is superman as well. she has been a make a wish volunteer for almost 5 years now and if she had one super power it would be healing hands so that all of these incredible children could be well

LAST CALL TO BOOK YOUR ROOMS

This is the last month to get your room booked at the rate of just $145 per night. There are only about ten rooms left, so make sure you get your room immediately. Simply call Hotel Monteleone at (504) 523-3341 and tell them you are with the Make-A-Wish group and book your room(s).

GET YOUR COSTUMES

Lots of talk this year about costumes - we wear the costumes on Saturday morning for the parade and pub crawl. This year the theme is "super heroes and such". The weather is very warm that time of the year, so keep that in mind when picking out a costume. Everyone participating in the parade dresses to the 9's - it's quite a site to see about 150 people marching down Bourbon Street all decked out. Make sure you look your best - there will be large crowds watching you

FUN RAISING

As many of you know, our goal this year is to raise $50,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and there has probably already been close to $10,000 raised. T will be getting in touch with you to see if there is anything you would like to do or any way she could assist you with fun raising ideas you may have. Help us make this more than just a weekend celebration, make it a year long habit You could have worse habits, you know lol.

Remember, the person or persons who raise the most money prior to August 1st will select our group's wish child this year!

GOLF

Please remember that we will be having a golf tournament this year. The golf tournament will be on Friday morning at 8:30 at Bayou Barriere, and there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the golf course. There will be multiple prizes and awards, as well as an opportunity to win a car on one of the par 3 holes.
