Are you doing Miami and Vegas? I might have to do both.. I had so much fun in Vegas.. but I've never been to Miami!! Let me know as soon as you book, so I can figure out time from work, and bring some girls! :) ha

Grand Oasis gives you more options for food, and the rooms are a little nicer, thats about the only difference.

Hey how much does Spring Break in Cancun cost roughly? By this I mean alcohol, meals, accommodation etc, minus flights. And what Spring Break package company is best? I might come next year, but it depends on if I can save up for the flight, it will cost about $2, 500. If I can't come next year, I will be there in 2014 and spending big to make up for a lost year.
Also considering there is so many more guys than girls, what makes Cancun so much better? I just want to get information from people who have been there, rather than travel agencies. I have already had one guy try and tell me South Padre is better because it has more women, but I thought I'd try and get a second opinion- the guy who said this lives on South Padre Island.
Lastly how wild are the Cancun day parties at Oasis? I just wanted to find out if they really are crazy, or if it's just a travel agency trying to sell holidays. DO you recommend staying there?

The rooms were weird because Grand is supposed to be nicer...and I guess it was in a small sense..but my friends who were regular oasis actually got the better rooms than we did as Grand. They were top floor of phase 1, but they only had one king bed instead of the two queens or fulls...don't remember which one we had in phase 3.

or maybe it was phase 2 and 4...don't remember, doesn't really matter anyways...but the food and bars are definitely worth the extra for Grand.

The breakfast area that overlooks the beach is pretty good, and the steakhouse style restaurant was the best food we had all week, so much better than the regular oasis and the garbage buffets they had.

As far as the bars, there's only a couple exclusive Grand ones..but one is right next to the beach where you can get good liquor and beer like Absolut and and Dos Equis instead of the no name liquors and Sol.

IMO it was worth it for us, but then again...if you're like me...you'll spend the majority of your time too drunk to care anyways.

Don't stay at a resort if it's not all inclusive...I can't tell you about the flight difference obviously being American, but I can tell you that we dropped a grand on flight+hotel for 5 nights and I brought $500 cash. 100 of that was in 1's for tips. We went through Apple Vacations, not sure if they're available to you but they were amazing to us...and you don't need to go through some Spring Break Package place, you'll spend wayyyy too much. They wanted to charge us like 1500-1700 a person if I remember right to stay at Oasis....Student City, STS, and places like that will tell you that you have exclusive access to parties at clubs, but you can easily go those nights if you want...all they basically do is pay for your cover in advance, doesn't save much money and you're not bound to a bar schedule.

When I went from March 5th to the 10th...the ratio was literally 50/50....and a strong 50/50 too, not too many ugly girls around haha...but I've heard it gets worse as the spring break season goes on.

If you're looking for a party, Oasis is the place to be. Bar none. The day parties are sick, from the pool to the beach...everyone is there. I actually felt bad for some older couples or families that were there, cause they clearly didn't do any research before they went. If you wanna party, Oasis is the place to go. That's not some travel agent trying to sell you, that's the truth.

    Hope this helps!
