Zackman, are you really that upset with the outcome of this election or is it that the Buffalo Bills are in a downward spiral? Looks like you are on a losing streak.
for once this entire election time....we agree on something.....now if we can just get everyone to leave it be so we can all be friends again, thatd be great
Wanted to point out that here in Indiana, that a majority of the counties in this state went Republican. Out of 92 counties, only 15 went Democratic. Out of those 15, five were in the Northwest corner of the state (around Chicago) and of the remaining counties, six of them are home to large colleges (a seventh is located in the aforementioned five counties in the NW part of the state). Essentially every county that is home to a major university in Indiana went Democratic... St. Joseph (Notre Dame), Tippecanoe (Purdue), Delaware (Ball State), Marion (Butler), Monroe (Indiana University), Vigo (Indiana State), & Vanderburgh (University of Evansville). I think that lends credence that a younger population's vote was heard this election. At least around this part of the Midwest. One other note to mention is that the last time Indiana went blue was back in 1964.
Zibby: I'm not bitter or angry at anyone at all. This is what a Democracy is all about. But seriously, you must admit Obama-mania is out of hand. My final analysis: I thought John McCain gave an honorable, honest, convincing, conciliatory concession speech to Obama. He blames no one else but himself for not achieving the Presidency. John McCain is an American hero and a man with true class. John McCain also said Barack Obama is now "My President" Obama's victory address was encouraging and optimistic (he's got a hell'uva speech writer). Perhaps contrary to my internet persona, I actually respect Obama in some ways - the man himself (not his liberal politics or economic policy). He certainly has charisma, is sharp, inspiring, and might I say – articulate. He essentially portrays himself as self-made man who overcame immense challenges and achieved the highest office in America. Although: There are still many questions about his dubious past associations and without question, he had very powerful, wealthy, supporters and enormous help to become President. One of the things that I like about Obama is that he has totally crushed the erroneous belief that minorities in America are perpetual helpless victims that will always require special treatment. Obama has disproved the culture of victimization in America. Unfortunately Democrats have subscribed to, and have spread this culture of victimization. Democrats believe more Government interference is the answer. I believe self-reliance, hard work, and education is the answer. Anyone who is determined and does hard work can achieve success – ANYONE! So, I hope Obama will lead by example and will do away with taxpayer funded programs that mandate unfair hiring quotas and set a minimum number of unqualified college entrants based on race. Remember what President Reagan said: "Government is not the solution to our problem, Government is THE PROBLEM!" Obama must resist the pull of far left nutcases like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and govern from the center. If not, his first 4 years will be his last 4 years as President. I have serious doubts, and strongly disagree to redistribute wealth or raise taxes for anyone in this economy. But for the sake of America, I hope he does not fail. As for my Bills, they are still tied for first place in the AFC East and the season is not over yet!
1. Agreed, it has to stop, its getting more annoying than it was beforehand 2. Better watch your back with my Fin's creeping up the standings....and well, we all know what happened the last time these 2 teams played .....not sure if i made mention to that already though
