If she's around that long. She will be tested on the Nov 14th weekend and given a pass/fail score before we leave the country.
1 thing is for sure...the US election is certainly more interesting (as interesting as polics can get) than our Canadian elections - at least there are various views on different topic, a real debate, articulate candidates, etc.... To be honest, over here, it's pretty much all of the same. I will go to my old elementary school to vote, in the old gym where I broke my tooth once, i like that.
i shall do the same.... old elementary school. behind the carboard booth to cast my vote....we have a communist party in my riding. as well as a marajuana party and a marxist party..how come i never see signs for these parties on the neighbours lawns? you are voting gilles ducceppe? i heart his photos... based on photos alone i'd vote bloc hehehe..
No natural law party representative this year?? They levitated from what I remember. ah yes, duceppe, my hero. The most pertinent party, at the federal level on top of it. Almost makes me miss Preston Manning (another pertinent smug cunt). Over the week-end Duceppe was caught yelling st someone (a voter), accusing him of being stupid/an idiot. F-ing brilliant.
This is interesting, Mickey Mouse and Dallas Cowboys football team applied to vote in the US elections with the help of some really, really, caring and nice community organizers. Apparently no one knows if there are Independents, Democrats, Republicans, Green Party or Communists, etc... http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/14/mickey-mouse-tries-register-vote/
that is the best thingi heard all day  perhaps i shall write his name on to my ballot and put reason..cause hes the shit!
I caught this the other day as well. It goes along the lines of what you guys are seeing. When I saw it, it did make me laugh. But it also made me realize that the United States has probably never had an honest election. This is an article about that Freddie Johnson guy that registered approximately 72 times. I'm not sure if I buy that he registered that many times, but I find it laughable that he was wooed by smokes and a little cash... and never had a clue that what he was going was wrong. Um... Hello??? www.nypost.com/seven/10102008/news/politics/1_voter__72_registrations_132965.htm I have seen the Communist Party on our ballots before, but can't say that I have seen a Marijuana Party. Can you imagine campaigning for that organization? Just think about the gala for the inauguration? Can't imagine the cost for feeding such an event, but I'm sure everybody there would love receiving a commemorative bong. Ha!
