i guess they could ..........i mean you would think the dj had heard that eminem song by now (the one that came out like in 2001) and got a clue -------- remember the line "nobody listens to techno" money works very well we have never brought an ipod so cant answer that one for you - but maybe jim can we typically bring a large number of cd's and tell the dude to play our stuff and then tmac pays him generously whatever is required to take a hike and go find some shitty gay techno bar --------- like basic.....or some place like that

My buddy brought down his Ipod with a Bose Docking system for it and it was at loud as you would need it to be, wether having a party in the room or in the dance areas... at some points we would even bring it to Patty O's and take request lol...

I wonder why the music is so aweful... if people are actually bringing their own music, would that not be a sign to change it up a bit.. how hard can it be to get new music.. even one new CD a month...lol I know you cant please everyone but if its your job to play the music for the resort club would you not want to have a variety? or is it because they want you to take the trip with the entertainment crew to the clubs for the night.. Just asking!!.. dont beat me up...lol
Yes you can help, put a ton on a cd or IPOD, its fun at nights to make your own party, either by the beach or at the dance area....or if Patty"o starts to die down in between club and closing , we bring it a bunch back to whoever has a ground floor room and party on the patio .....lol
When you say you bring your IPOD and a Dock, do you mean like speaker for the IPOD? Just want to make sure because Music is a BIG DEAL for my peeps and I want to make sure I am prepared to swoop in and be DJ Chi-town if the music sucks! What are the best options to keep the party going by the bar?
Yes the speaker systems for the Ipod, some of them have great sound for small speakers, Last few years my friends have brought the docks, " the ones that the Ipod sits in.....cuz theirs were also an alarm clock, some rooms dont have a clock.......but yeah the speakers are always a bonus, cuz then you can use them if someone has a laptop you can download via limewire or whatever service you want....but i would definately bring an Ipod and speakers if you like your music, Temptations is great, with great people but you wont see their DJ on MTV anytime soon if ya know what I mean lol
