We have been going to this area for MANY years. May I suggest you look to go to Puerto Morelos about 30 minutes from Cancun? We use Almost Heaven as our tour guide. Enrique is fantastic. He will take you out on a private boat...very reasonable. If the conditions at a certain reef are not clear; he will go to other reefs to make certain you have a good clear snorkel tour.
