We’ve been to Mexico around 14, 15 times now. With plenty of trips showing thunderstorm or rain everyday. And usually, it amounts to very little.

Sorry to hear that. These 3rd party sites get blocks of rooms and many times the resort is sold out but they’ll be availability here.
You should be checking 3rd party sites. Like Expedia, Orbitz, cheap tickets, etc… I would be surprised if you couldn’t find availability somewhere.
Very easy process. No need to stress. Set up appt at resort and you’ll have results within 15 minutes via email.
