I'm flying from Newark, one of the 3 NYC airports. It was about US$420 when I booked it a month ago.
It's not my fault that there is absolutely no reason for me to go to PA.
NYC is on the way to New Haven. He can take I-80 west which merges into I-95 near NYC and I-95 will go right to New Haven.
It's only a 5-6 hour drive. You can come pick me and Rice up when you pass by NYC. :)

The train to downtown from the airport is only 20 minute. Unless, there is a one hour line at passport control, 4.5 hour is MORE than enough time...
