I am curious if the old 5000 rooms will still be 5000 rooms,,, will the existing buildings keep the old same room numbers?

We will be there for sure! most likely dates at this time are 04/07/18-04/13/18 most likely followed up with 3 nights at Desire RM.
We assume you have read about new resorts scheduled to open about a year from now in the DR - one Temptation and one Desire. Maybe you can find...

Can you imagine how packed that hot tub would get... (even though there is no hot tub bar ala Desire style)
