Exactly our opinion as well.. we don't mind walking a little farther... and typically it was so late that the wife would strip her clothes off...
Don't waste your time with regular pedicures at ttr.. overpriced and not worth it.. wife and I got matching pedicures and it was like $125 with...

Those rooms were being remodeled while we were there a few weeks ago. They were scraping the walls/ceilings, repainting/replacing everything......
I wouldn't worry. We never SAW any at TTR... Once or twice you could smell it near the beach, but that's it..
The wife & I both have it on our tablets... I'm one chapter in... Not sure how far she is... Maybe tonight i'll read some more...
