I have to admit that when we were first looking for a resort in Cancun that we almost didn't book Temptations due to everything that I read regarding the swingers / lifestylers at the resort. My wife and I are very "vanilla" and that whole concept was completely foreign to us. We were concerned about being pressured or ostracized for not being interested in partaking. Well after having spent 6 nights there and getting to know quite a few lifestyle couples, I can say that our fears were 100% unfounded. In fact it was the complete opposite of what I was expecting. The lifestyle couples were not only fun to hang out with, but were the friendliest people we have met, and also the most protective. Once they knew we were not in the lifestyle there was no pressure applied additionally they would stop others (bachelor parties) from giving unwanted attention. That being said, if you are considering booking Temptations but are hesitant due to it being a "swingers resort", don't worry. You will have the time of your life. And get to know a few people in the lifestyle. They may be some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Ditto! We are not LS but have great friends that we meet there every year. We had the exact same fear a couple years ago. Now, in some respects, we feel closer to our TTR friends.. I think it is because everyone can open up and talk about their lives in a way that is not guarded. The conversations are definitely more intimate, not sexually (well....sometimes they are).
My experience was a bit different! We were not into LS and it even took me a full day to remove my top. We were the epitome of a vanilla couple. We didn’t even know LS folks hung out at TTR. Long story short; I kissed a girl and I liked it. Five years later, we have been in the LS in one form or another and love it. I always look back and smile when I think of my first kiss at TTR. Now we’ve been to every LS resort and have met some amazing people, both vanilla and swingers. But like the others said, no one pressures you or tries to seduce you. For me, it was just a hidden side that I hadn’t explored and never thought about. Just needed the right place, the right girl, the right situation, etc…
I think I might like that too! (oops, sorry if I messed up the innocence of this post thread. I’ll behave)
one of the best thing about good l/s people is that we keep to the kindergarten rule .. if it isn't yours ask before you touch it lol we might be a little crazy when we can be ..but we keep it respectful
We're not hardcore swingers but we have some interesting experiences every now and then. One thing we know for sure, lifestyle people are some of the nicest people on the planet.
