I am planning on having my bachelor party @ TTR aug 7-10 and was wondering if this would be the perfect place for it? Just wanna party in the sun!!
Here was a recent post along the same lines with some info you might find helpful. Bachelor Party In September, Who’s Gonna Be There? In short answer, if your group is smaller and around 30+ years old, you might have a great time at TTR and find the party atmosphere you are looking for, with a few close friends. BUT if you groups is larger, younger, and are looking to get wild bachelor party style, then Temptation isn't the place for that. I bet you can find something else that would fit better. (additionally the percentage of single girls is less than 5%).
I don’t know why many single people think that TTR is a good place for bachelor party, most of the people are from late 30’s to 50’s and go as couples. I like to know why it is better than go to any other hotel in Cancun and go to the night clubs where the majority of the people are singles and younger than the people in TTR
It comes up in google searches and travel lists as a great place for them. It was always in the top 2-3 resorts for singles every time I was looking. Not sure if the resort is actively trying to attract more singles or a younger crowd, but it’s definitely on all the travel sites as a great party places for singles.
And it's still a great place for singles. A very small number of groups have misbehaved badly, so sometimes everyone else takes the heat for it. We've actually had more problems with drunk husbands than singles.
We have been several times while there were bachelor parties there and only once was it a problem. But not a problem for us. There were about a dozen guys in the party and by the end of the first afternoon two of them were removed from the pool by security for their own safety. They were to drunk to be in the water. By midnight about half of them were escorted out of bash and we never saw any of them the next day. Other times we have seen bachelor parties they seemed like they were having a great time.
In June '18 there were members of a bachelor party feeling up every girl they could. Big fright broke out and police came. The bachelor party members were even fighting with security.
I think if you have never been there I would say no, it's not the best place for a bachelor party. I think a bachelor party could be fun there, but only if you (and most of the rest in the party) have been to TTR previously and understand the vibe, etc.
