We will be going June 6-9 so we need to pick 3 good restaurants for dinner. Any advise would be helpful ? This is our first trip since the renovations.
Our favorites are ; Romanza (Italian) Sutra (Asian) Amores (Mexican) Haven't been to SHE since they changed it up a bit.
We like Romanza, Sea Flirt, and Sutra (either menu or hibatchi). I like buffet for breakfast, she like Sea Flirt. We like roof and buffet for lunch. Amores is okay, but is the only thing open sometimes.
Italian is first choice, and then Sea Flirt. Mexican was fine, and they have a great dessert there. I'm sure the buffet is good, but after eating there for lunch, we avoided it for supper last trip.
1 - Italian definitely, get the risotto (as an appetizer portion). 2 - Sutra. The Hibachi or regular seating is good. Food is great there. 3 - Room service. Only had it once but all plates were FANTASTIC. Alternatives BASH buffet. Burgers are always great if you can wait that long, the rest is gravy. Steakhouse. You are not going to get the same as North America, but I haven’t found it anywhere close to some of the bad reviews it gets. As long as you temper you comparisons, it’s a pretty good restaurant IMHO after 3 visits since Reno. Sea flirt is good as well and would be a toss up with Steakhouse. Haven’t had Amores or She for dinner. Buffet is good for quickie dinner.
Tried most places and were very good , flame wasnt the best steak but would give it ago again next trip ( she ) was an interesting experiance but definatly not good enough to go back ,had to hit the buffet it,,, italian was our overal fav, (.Y.)
So last week we did... Sea flirt Italian Hibachi Off site steak house Harry’s Italian again Some recommendations... Reserve a spot at Hibachi for one night as soon as you arrive. There is a desk near check in. Ask at check in where. Times are typically 6, 6:15, 7:15, 7:30, 8:30, 9 (give or take 15 mins). The 7’s fill up first of course. You may have to look several days into the future to get a spot Other restaurants above are first come first serve. If you arrive at 7:30-8 on a busy night (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and other nights if resort full) then expect to wait 30-60 mins for your table at places like Italian for sure. In other words if you can make it there by 7 you can beat the rush and have no wait. If you are in the tower and party too hard and choose the snap option then you can always just order free room service and avoid a long wait and missing the shows at 10. If you want to ‘escape’ for a nice fancy meal we recommend Harry’s steak house. Ask for a table overlooking the lagoon. Great food, romantic and amazing service. 200 peso taxi ride. About 10 mins
