We sadly have not traveled a lot but are looking to change that. What opinions do you guys have on what time of year is best for TTR, regarding weather and people attending
We prefer early October (first two weeks), good weather through the day and just the right temperature at night, not too hot like August. Fantastic group of people too !
I totally agree with the first weeks in October. We went last week in August first week in September this year and we will not be doing that again, the temperature is too hot, pool and ocean not refreshing. T
We find May and over Labour Day to be the best for us...very hot though. Awesome people no matter what time you go Scott
Yeah really on this site you will find great people at all times. Around certain points there are very large repeater groups. My suggestion would to find a time of the year that the weather, and length of day, are what you are looking for. Then once you have decided on a month, use this site to ask when a repeater group is going (if that is what you are looking for as well). I've visited the resort in January, April, July, November and December. The weather in November / December isn't great TBH. It can get a bit rainy and cold, and the pool (was) very cold. However, there's an amazing atmosphere that time of year. The party doesn't stop and the sheer volume of repeaters makes it a very special time of year. In April and July, the weather was amazing. Not a cloud in the sky in July. I think I chose the wrong week in April when I visited as a lot of the repeaters had already left when we were there. In July, it was quiet (not many CCC'ers about) but the weather more than made up for this.
If a slightly more spring breakish (not too noticeable though) atmosphere doesn't bother you, March is a great month too. Perfect weather!
