Seeing some of the pictures, I noticed that the women's tops end up tied up on the ship.....do you get those back? (not that I will want or need mine back but just curious!) :flash:
Yes the tops are taken in the beginning, sent up the mast, and then returned at the end of the day. When you are on the island for lunch, it is required to have something on at points. Lots of girls wear these tie Cancun care wraps (i don't know what they are called). I have also seen girls bring a second top with them and keep it in their bag until they need it. (A girl can probably answer this question even better then me. But I am bored But have no fear work is over soon, and then weekend party time begins)
Yes they give them back but not until on the way back they sale a Cancun care cover up on the boat because when your at the buffet you have to be covered. It's a nice souvenir to have to keep if not make sure to bring something with you
A couple years ago the top stayed on the mast until the boat got back to TTR. Vicki and other women went topless on the small island where lunch was served. Sadly, tops are required in the town on Isla Mujeres. Pretty sure the crew gave back tops for that and then they went back on the mast for the return trip. Bottoms required on both islands, but not on the boat.
Bottoms are only required on the walk to the restaurant past the vanilla, kid friendly places. Once at the restaurant you can be naked.
The spots where the boat stays so people can skinny dip. Is it shallow waters ? My GF can't swim :-( Jay
If you're referring to the stop where everyone goes snorkeling... no, it's not in shallow water! They have life vests so those who can't swim can still get in and enjoy some skinny-dipped snorkeling (or, more than likely, wading around for non-swimmers). ONE WORD OF CAUTION... if they say they are not going to their regular spot, don't let her get in the water not knowing how to swim. Our first time out was a "different spot" and the water was unpredictable. It's a great story afterwards (and there's nothing like almost dying to fuel that "life's too short, so fuck it" attitude that contributes to great memories), but when half the boat is drunk, gets into choppy water and has to be saved by the other drunks... well, it's not so fun DURING the event! Then again, we're looking forward to almost dying again this July, so what do I know! Made some good friends on that adventure! :daveandmo:
My memory fades. ....lol.......but I'm positive people have been fully nude at lunch........at least they have in the pictures we have.......lol. You do have to be covered when the boat docks in town.
