Take 2 The customer service at this resort is exceptional from the time the van doors open in the shuttle on arrival, to the time they close on departure day. I think anyone that compalins about the staff on trip advisor is just one of those a#*holes that will never be happy no matter what gets done for them. Being our (my best friend and I) first trip, we had researched fairly well but we still wondered just what exactly we would encounter here. We decided to not do the Boobs Cruise our first visit to make sure we could adjust at Temptation first, didn't want to over shock ourselves lol. Sure, you don't see some of the things we saw walking down the street everyday but I saw just as much "wildness" at the Toronto Gay Pride parade last year, especially when it came to costumes for theme nights. If you are looking for "fun" here you can find it but if you are more of a straight arrow type of person, I really don't feel you will be scarred for life by anything you see for the most part. If you get propositioned and it's not your thing, they graciously accept your decline. We went here with the intention of partying til our livers were screaming for a break with super fun awesome people, and that is exactly what we found and did! There was always a party going on day and night, if you wanted to escape it there is always the quiet pool or the beach. Chair saving was definitely a die hard sport, but really if there wasn't any left sexy poolside, throw your crap and towel at the beach on a chair and go back and forth. One thing I noticed that irritated me was of the 3 hammocks behind sport pool area, most times the only thing in them was peoples crap that should have been on an empty chair on the beach. 3 hammocks only in that area and all those people up and down from beach to pool that may like a chill time in one, you're just an ASS for doing that. I hung in one empty one for a few hours one day and no one that owned the stuff reserving the other two was in them the whole time I was there. Just so you know if you are one of those people and next year when I return all 3 hammocks are reserved with your crap and your butt is not in it, you will return to find me in it and your stuff on the ground The entertainment sexy pool side was hilarious and outstanding, very well done! Eduardo is the man for keeping the drinks coming sexy pool/beach side. Carlos in the lobby was so extrordinary that when we arrived a smoke break was needed before we checked in after the long travel day without. That fella offered to go grab us two beers and brought them out to us! Our suit cases hadn't even gone inside yet. Check in went great, but I think because it was after dinner time and most time share people weren't there, I don't know. We got sat at a desk across from front desk but he didn't have us there long as I made it quite clear the only thing on my mind at that time was my bikini and drinks. Carlos noticed we had downed our beers and had the bellboy run and grab us two more before we even started walking to our room. Like I said he was just AWESOME. We were very happy with our room. We had a two bed deluxe ocean view in the 1300's, would definitely request it again. I had read complaints about the oceanview being a "sliver" of one before by people, ours was fab. Food was great, lots of selection and lots to choose from. I actually was afraid to put my jeans on tonight to go out for dinner but they still fit fine! All the healthy choices on the buffet allowed me to use saved calories towards the boozin time. I wasn't big on the Asian place, but I was hung over that day so maybe not much of anything would have really seemed super tasty lol I ordered the sushi platter and the lettuce wraps. I liked the sushi better. One thing I did really enjoy there was the blush wine that they served. Italian was lovely inside but unfortunately I wasn't feeling well that night, so I had to leave when the main course arrived. The ambiance was definitely nice. Now for Paty-o's, OMG I had so much fun every night I was there! I'm sure hearing a whistle be blown will now make that place my first thought every time lol This is where I encountered a couple of creepos and both these guys didn't care that I was in conversation with another man on their arrival to stand next to me or sit next to me and interrupt. Actually, the one guy was so brutal that a guy from one of those "Big Bad Bachelor Party Groups" stepped in and got me away from him. In that case the guy that was trouble was the one not with a large group of guys....just sayin' ;-) At the end of the day, we thought this place really is a Spring Break for adults. That is defintely the perfect way to describe it. If you wanna be the wild one, wear that badge proudly. If you wanna just admire how fun and ballsy others are, do that too but if you don't have a sense of humour and don't know how to laugh and have a good time, this place isn't for you. You wouldn't be for me either though as life is too short to not have fun living it. See you next year Temptation, you have me hooked and crushin' hard! :xyxthumbs: :daveandmo:
