Hi guys... Has anyone been on the fishing excursions? I'm travelling solo to Temptation for a couple of weeks at the end of April and would appreciate any advice on different providers, costs and whether May is a good time to fish? Appreciate the help and can't wait to join the party in a couple of months. Alex.
You're a single guy, going to TTR and you are going to LEAVE to go FISHING?? Wow. I really need to try to talk my single girlfriend who recommended TTR into coming with us!
We went with whoever they hook you up with at the hut by the pool where you get your towels. I forget how much it cost ($200 tops), but it was just the two of us for 4 hours on a little boat with a crew of two. They take you from the dock to the right side of the resort and have a cooler full of beer on board. Hubby caught a pile of barracuda. Hang on for dear life though. When they're ready to go back, they FLY. The waves were huge that day and I thought I was going to die. lol
Hahahaha... point well made... all day partying or a quiet spot of fishing??? Think you may be right although a day of fresh air on the big blue may be a welcome break on my liver's behalf! ;-) Having said that once i'm there i'm sure the fishing will be at the bottom of my to do list!!! Looking forward to meeting you guys in May. Alex
Lol... thanks for the reply and info, sounds like good fun and an impressive haul from your hubby! Look forward to meeting you, first round on me! Alex
Us, too! Still working on my friend, seriously. She was one of the only people at our very last minute wedding in NYC (iPOP at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival, Vol. 2 | Filmmakers, Film Industry, Film Festivals, Awards & Movie Reviews | Indiewire ) so I think it's only fitting that she come to our 10th anniversary celebration!
Absolutely, she definitely needs to be there! Congrats on the 10 year anniversary, I imagine some big partying will be enforced to celebrate the fantastic occasion! Will be a great trip i'm sure. I'm super excited now and counting down the days... April/May needs to hurry up!
If you were there a week earlier, I'd go with you! There are good charters at the dock behind Senior Frogs downtown.
That's a shame! :-( Would have been fun to go with you! I appreciate the tip though, will check that area out!
