We have been tying to relive our TTR nights with Tequila at home but its nothing compared to the stuff at TTR. Does anyone know what brands they are??
Wait.. You are TRYING to drink the same tequila as what is served at TTR? Like... ON purpose? Lol.. Just go buy really cheap gold tequila. Don't buy patron don Julio or corazon.. Try cheap cuervo, 1800, or the stuff that is labeled"tequila" with no brand Sent from my speak and spell.
The most popular Tequila in the hotel zone is el Jimador. It costs under $9 USD in town. We always try and bring home a bottle ; ) I have never seen it for sale in the US though.
No idea of the brand, I just know that I can drink the stuff in Mexico. If I try over here it just makes me ill!
We bought Jose Cuevo silver from Asda (supermarket owned by Walmart in the UK) and I'm sure its nowhere near as strong. The info does say its made in London. Maybe thats why?? Sure the bottle says it 38%
TTR now has Milagro. Still not my favorite when at home but not too bad. They also have Cuervo and Orendain I think.
We drank El Jimador at the resort and a few others... can't remember their name but they had a better taste than El Jimador. I have bought El Jimador in the states at Meijer in the past. It is 100 percent agave which is a must for decent tequila.......:daveandmo:
