Hammie, Back in the 60s, our OLD family Doctor (John Hopkins 1924) always told us kids that alcohol only removes the inhibitions. The person that you see after he/she is really drunk is the REAL personality of that person. Good or Bad!!!
I am a very "happy" drunk after I have had a few too many !!! Sorry, but I have never considered Canadians or English to be foreigners!!! Kind of like first Cousins !!! we have way too many things in common !!! Frenchmen , yes !!! English , NO !!!
I've had the pleasure of witnessing one fist fight at a bar. Full on tables turned over, bar stools flying, the works. It all kicked off because one guy spotted another guy who'd previously dated his girlfriend, and lunged at him because he felt this ex was 'looking at him funny'. Mates from either side got involved and all hell broke loose. Thankfully I'm with the most pacifistic guy you will ever meet; Russ wouldn't hurt a fly. We steer clear of trouble.
What part of west london she from i am as well grew up there and then moved to north london so that changed it and made it a bit ermmm rougher. lol Last year at Temptation at one point they got me to stand in the pool and read out load to the ladies Fifty shades of Grey...... I think the water level in the pool rose by several inches lol:icon_biggrin:
We've met some awesome people from all over the globe in our travels and we've met some awful people from all over the globe! I don't think any one nationality can be labelled as ruder or more obnoxious than another. As overly friendly Newfies (yes we're famous for it and damn proud to say so) we wouldn't want to be labelled as "troublesome Canadians" because of someone's bad experience with some rude Canadians. Tolerance people. We're all different that's part of what makes travelling so fun!!
