Hey all, Me and my boyfriend aged 22 are staying at the Temptation resort hotel on the 18th April - 2nd May. Have been reading the reviews on trip advisor and feel quite disheartened by some of the terrible reviews about this place! Thought I would come on here to see real people's opinions and get advice from regulars. Anyone staying around this time? Any decent theme nights? Look forward to hearing from you all. Charlotte xxx
there is a big bunch of crazy people going in April.. we call ourselves the April Addicts (for good reason).. there is a April theme night thread. Woodman keeps a PDF file for everyone, just PM him.. or he will find you and post his infor for you to email him.. egnore all other reviews.. haha!! lots of trip reports on here too... TTR is not a five star resort.. if you expect that you will be disapointed.. but .. it has a unreal amount of repeaters.. if it was a nasty place .. who would go back? if you are easy going, like to meet new people and love to party and have fun.. this was a great choice.. cheers! Your going down at a great time with many regulars that go there around that time. Check out the April and May roll call and get to know people. Temptation has the most repeaters in Cancun. Just think of this place as a resort for over 21 spring break. While many people there will be a bit older then you it won't matter since everyone that wants to party and meet some great go here. You make it what you want and ask away in questions on this forum many will answer your questions. Just get to know people on the roll call that are going to be there when you are and you will have instant party friends. You will be getting there when the majority of the April party crowd is there and leaving arounf when the majority of the May party group goes that are repeaters. No matter when you go you will have a great time as long as you want to have a great time. Put a pic up of both of you for an avatar or in your profile so people know who to look for. If you notice someone from the forum when you get there just say hi and get ready to meet alot of people at the same time since they will introduce you to everyone.. The only bad reviews that I have read is people who expect a 5 star resort which Temptation is if you want to party and meet people. The food isnt too bad either expecially the Italian and chinese. All other resorts are boring in my opinion but not Temptation. And party time at night is also great and best time to meet many new friends. Rob

Hello and welcome! Trip advisor is all some have to base their reviews off of. At least at the start. When we first went here back in 2009 we didn't know about Cancuncare, until after we left the resort. You take the good reviews and the bad, and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. But with TTR, the good reviews are generally far more honest and fair as to what the resort is like. You'll find more helpful tips and hints and insight as to what the resort is like here on cancuncare. The friends you make here, you will likely keep for life! Partydoll was right about the repeaters. Probably 50-70% of the people that go are repeaters, because we love most everything about this place. We think it's a 5 star resort, because those that you'll be staying there with, make up for anything the resort may be lacking! Be prepared to have the time of your life!
You will never find a place like this, You will have the time of your life. I am on my 6th yr Straight and plan on 7 this year. We bought a time share there since we loved it so much. Just be prepared to have fun and meet people and be friendly. Keep in mind that some people are paid to give good and bad reviews on place to help or hurt there competition. the other comments and mine come from the heart when it comes to TTR. We literally have a second family now.
If you're sociable, have an open mind and like to have fun...you'll have a blast at TTR, guaranteed! I actually left a very positive review on Trip Advisor, after my friend and I took our first Cancun trip there last year. We had so much fun and met so many good people. The staff are great and the food is pretty good too! My friend bought into it the 2nd day we were there, he loved it so much. This year, we convinced 6 more people to come along with us...its gonna be a whole new experience. Looking forward to it. We'll be there Apr 25-May2, so maybe we'll bump into eachother some time. If not, i'm sure you'll have a great time. Who knows, you might even be on here next year telling the next breed of "Newbies" how awesome it is. Enjoy!
some people do know each other while others have never meet but have been coming in the forum and meeting people that way and getting to know each other before hand. So while they may seem to know each other they may have never really meet just trying to get to know them before hand on here
I love TTR this will be our 2nd time there,and 5th in cancun if u like to party u will have a great time ..
