We will be renting the Temptation yacht next week. We have it for the whole day. Can anyone tell us what the proper tip for the whole day should be. Dont want to cheap out.
I was going to post a smartass comment about not tipping over the yacht since it would sink but... Consider that many people think that $20 per couple is a standard tip on the Boobs Cruise usually with about 60 people. That gets split up 5 or 6 ways. Let's say you have 10 people with a crew of 3 (not sure but guessing). I'd venture to say that $20 to $40 per couple would be appropriate. Remembering of course that on all the boats most of the income they get is through tips. Not sure if I'm right but that's how I'd approach it.
Well I would wait and evaluate the service and attitude first. The trip we took the 2 guys operating the trip were a couple of stumps. Also was suppose to have lunch onboard. Still waiting for that and a very minimal supply of beer. No different than back home... You don't get good service from everyone.......:headbanger:
We usually tip between $50 and $100 depending on how many of us are on the trip, and if we have any tightwads who have forgotten to bring any cash. Pepe and the crew are always awesome, and we are ready for a trip at the end of the month. The yacht is white, and I would avoid the chocolate AIWC. We had some no-shows on one trip, and I ended up catching up with Pepe the next day to give him a tip. He was all-smiles before and after the tip.
