Are ' thankyou cards ' similar to the ' Sorry for hitting on the bride, brides mother, all the bridesmaids, the reception staff, waitress's and for throwing up in the champagne buckets, floral decorations, grooms , best man and grooms fathers top hats <<delete>> ' cards that I normaly have to send after a wedding ?

I see nothing wrong with it, as long as you distribute them in same envelope as those you are mailing. If you have to send out in office-issued envelopes, that would be tacky.

Hand delivered is also nice. For the last few years we have received both wedding/shower invitations and thank you cards that have been dropped off in our mailbox (not stamped).

I think its perfectly acceptable and you should feel privaleged to be invited to someones special day not how they invited you

2 things, 1 of moral value, the other very shallow in nature:

    1) Why should the company ''pay'' for this postage? (in the sense that it is non-work related).

    2) How cool, a beautiful white envelope, in a shitty-looking brown envelope that's passed 78 hands before, red cord to keep the tab down included.

I think passing out by hand would be much better if wanting to save postage.

    I voted tacky.

Will they CC themselves a copy to forward into their wedding album? Some things just aren't meant to be emailed.
