Calling everyone who is going from Christmas to New Year's. What is the resort like over this period? Are a lot of the staff off? Is there a Boobs Cruise( please, please, please) ? Last year I was at Grand Lido, Jamaica over Christmas and all they did was put up a few decorations. They had one turkey for about 300 guests. We should have a special dress up to mark the season. How about on Boxing Day....you can only wear cardboard. :wink3:
The resort is awesome over xmas/new years! We've spent 2 weeks over the holidays at TTR for the last 3 years, and it keeps getting better. The resort is busy, usually fully booked from my understanding since they often try to bump people to Desire, and it's fully staffed for the holidays (never have a problem getting something). There was a Boobs Cruise last year during that period (I think it was the 28th or 29th) but you won't know for sure until next month. They definitely do a great job with food and the special nights, you won't go hungry (and if you don't like the main buffet, you can always go again to another one of the restaurants!)
It's raining here in the UK but not long now until Xmas day when we arrive. Can't wait to be warm and looking forward to meeting some interesting people. Dec 25 - 8 Jan can't come soon enough.
