We are planning on doing the Boobs Cruise, and that's a full day. I wanna do Tulum and we'll probably do the combo Tulum/ Xel-Ha full day. Being there 7 days, would it be too much to add on Xcaret or Xplor? If you are pretty adventurous, how easy is it to still get sucked in to not wanting to leave the sexy pool? lol

Is it worth it to do Tulum and Xel Ha together? Of Xcaret or Xplor, does one stand out over the other?

    Thanks!

Xel Ha and Xcaret are very similar...Xplor is a full day as well...the zip lines were a lot of fun...and it is all inclusive...food and drinks (no alcohol)...We really enjoyed Xplor when we went...

We have been to all of the places you have listed and we had the most fun at Xplor. However TTR is the one resort we have been to that we find ourselves not wanting to leave from to do excursions (except the Boobs Cruise!).

We did the zip line/ATV tour which was fun and only a little more than a half a day. We also went out on the Tempatations yacht, Steve's cruise didn't line up the dates we were there. The rest of the time we were quite happy hanging by the sexy pool, which was our intent going down there.

Thanks for the answers, we loved Xel-Ha and Tulum, and were wondering whether to do XPLOR or Xcaret. Looks like XPLOR is where we are headed! THANKS A MILLION! I do agree, any excursion we did, we always wondered what was going on at the Sexy Pool...

A few years ago we did Tulum and Xel Ha the same day. Its definitley do-able the same day. An early start would be a good idea.

OK, just my opinion, seems like a lot of time away from a fun all-inclusive resort. My suggestion would be to book in advance what you want to do for sure and wait to book the others after you arrive. I truly beleive that you will regret being away from TTR for half of your vacation. The cruise is a must.

I would save some of the trips for when you decide to stay further south. Again, just my opinion. Please don't beat me up too bad!:beer4:

Agreed. I would spend a full day at the resort and get a feel before booking too much, we only spend one day per week away from the resort, and maybe a morning or afternoon of shopping, that's it!

That was what I kinda figured... that was my concern. Plus, he is just getting back from 4 months in Afghanistan, has 2 weeks (one at TTR and one home in SD) and then he goes back for 3 months. As adventurous as he is, Im thinking he has enough adventure over there and may want to relax lol He is down to do whatever Id like to do, but I think - once we get there and start lounging and drinking - it's going to become more of "I cant believe we have to get up at 8am tomorrow"

I think Ill book Tulum and Xel-Ha (because I really want to see Tulum) and then we can do more if we feel like it. It's not like it's some huge discount booking XPLOR in advance, right? :)

    4 MORE SLEEEEEEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

The resort is way too much fun to leave for too long. I would only book some type of activity around Cancun that lasts for a few hours.
