Would a misdemeanor warrant come up at the airport when trying to leave the country?

Leaving from another city 8 hours away from where the warrant is but still the same state..It is a county warrant for violation of probation on a DUI.
    thanks!

I don't technically know the answer but my hunch would be that any time your passport is scanned in the US (immigration), it's possible the warrant would come up. In that case, I don't know how airport security/customs officer could not arrest you.

But...why push your luck? I'd say just take care of it and prepare for your trip with a clear mind and no worries. After all, you are going on a trip for pleasure, what's the point if there is hidden stress involved?

drinking and driving is bad lol. i wouldnt risk it at all, and i would assume as soon as they scanned your passport that you would be detained..

Do they scan your passport when leaving the US or upon return or both?

they scan it when u get to mexico and when u get back to the usa, not sure if u would be detained in mexico for a warrant, if not, then at least u get to enjoy spring break in cancun before going to jail lol
