I recently purchased a package for the Oasis Cancun. My trip is not until August of 07, however , I have been looking at some very bad reviews about this hotel. Has anyone been there recently? If so, how is the construction coming along? I have heard that the beach is back to what it should be with exception of the sand. Is this true?
A lot of people from our Breakers board are staying ther in the next few weeks for Spring Break. I'm sure you'll get more than enough info from thm upon their return.
Every hotel seems to have both good and bad reviews. It all depends on your expectations that will determine if you like your hotel or not. Some reviews indicate our resort isn't good enough for fleas to stay in, but we absolutely love it! Take each review with a grain of salt and remember that you will be in Cancun enjoying sun, sand and ocean!
All I ask for is a decent place to stay in. Most of the time I will be either outside in the beach, or away from the property exploring. I just was a little worried since I read some reviews about leaky roofs, mold in walls, etc. But like you said. Once you get to the Beach, you forget about everything..... I can't wait until August!!!!!
