This question comes up quite often. The bottom line is that yes, it can happen. However, the chances are very small. We personally have never had a problem. I have heard of others that did find their photos posted. We do participate and have a very good time without worrying about the "what if's". Life is too short.
Hi guys, we've participated during all of our 5 trips over the past 7 years and nothing has shown up anywhere to date. Hope you have a great trip xxx
I agree with Dale and Cherri. Life is way too short! Live each day as its your last. Relax, have a good time and soon you'll be a repeater like the rest of us. Hugs!! Shiela
All that being said... you still have a concern that someone back home might see something that could make your live a little or a lot less easy.... I have heard of a case where a lady was going through a divorce and headed down to then BBG with the new BF and went wild. The ex found pictures on the web and went after the kids. That's one occurrence I've heard of in the last 13+ years of going. In her case she was posting on here that they planned to go wild, the ex found where she was going, found out she was on this site, and then started hunting... So it wasn't a random act of finding her, it was a concerted effort by a determined person to put it all together. Think of it this way... you go and someone happens to catch you in a less than flattering photo, then they have to actually post that photo online out of all the ones they have, then someone you know has to find that picture out of all the available picture on the WWW, then they have to admit that they were actually looking at sites that contained those pictures and happen to see you. That's a lot of things that have to just happen in order for your neighbor at home to find your picture. Chances are real slim if you're not currently being hunted. We've been going for a real long time and I haven't found anything on us yet and I do conduct a search now and then just to check. (Not that I would do anything bad down there.. promise!) So like everyone has said, go and enjoy. Worst case some one gets a picture of you naked and looks at it on Friday nights when they are home alone... that just means that you're sexy enough to be looked at and should consider it a compliment. Just my 2 cents.... Jamie
At Hedo III (back in June '08) they made us sign a waiver at checkin that we wouldnt take pics in certain areas. They were very good about enforcing the rule too. I was a little disappointed that TTR Cancun didnt have the same rule. Oh well. Back to TTR (Cabo this time) in 2 months!
I can say there were no cameras allowed in on lingerie night, and everybody had to be dressed for it.
