I think it cost $15.00 a day, I paid for one day and left Internet Explorer open and I was good for a few days. I was blown away with the speed, I spent 2 hours logged onto a server back home and the speed was just as if I was working from home, and Skype worked flawlessly. Try doing that from Cuba and see what happens. It did work from the room fairly well, though the signal was not great I was impressed
He's right...it's $15 a day. Our room was far from the front desk and there was no signal at all. We ended up sitting on those couches by the front desk area to use it. Speed for US was mediocre at best. For $15/day, it should be guaranteed to at least reach your room.
Thank you for the info. This sounds good, especially skype, so Mom can keep up with the kids at home. We will check our room when we get there and the lobby is not too far from at least one bar.
Just returned yesterday. Got the wifi in the room. Had no signal at all but I brought an antenna booster along which gave me a full signal. Speed was killer slow but it did work and was 15 bucks a day.
I am heading out to buy an antenna booster today. We only have 2 more sleeps till we are at the pool.
