Do they serve a sweet wine at TTR or is it mostly white wines? Tina likes a glass of wine after dinner before we head to Paty'Os.
We were never impressed with the house white wine so we tried the red this time around and were pleasantly surprised! Granted, it's not going to win any awards, but it was very nice with dinner. I wouldn't call it sweet, but I think it is a good compromise.
we always have wine at dinner, they do have a wine list but you have to pay extra for the good stuff otherwise your stuck with a cabernet or chardonnay there both not bad
They do have a house red. And my buddy and I found that after you do a shot or two of tequila, the wine tastes GREAT. ~Maxx
Never had a good bottle of wine at TTR..........but have finished every one......and the next one too!
I'm not sure if you are getting your question answered: In general I personally find the house white way too sweet for my preferences. It is not as sweet as a moscato or sweet riesling though. Do you like the welcome drinks that they make at the Italian/Asian restaurants? Those are pretty sweet and might be a good alternative. If you just politely ask at the hostess stand they will bring one out to you for sipping before hitting up the party. You may also want to try to have them make a champagne spritzer to sweeten up the champagne. If you get to Paty O's early enough in the evening they have champagne flutes that are plastic (so that I can dance later and not get cut by stupid broken glasses).
Thanks yes she did like those, we aren't looking for an award winning wine, box wine is fine with her, just something sweet, not worth trying to pack a bottle we will take your advice and probably go buy a bottle to enjoy on the balcony as well.
Mrs Shiner is a big wine drinker, and she thinks the white house wine is really terrible. (If you knew her, and she is passing up a white wine, it shows how bad it is. ) The house red is OK at best. Cheers!
