Wasn't it April a year ago that a law went into effect outlawing the tinting of the driver's and/or front passenger's windows???

And didn't I go to Transito, wait in line for an hour, then wait for the free removal, which took another hour, and which involved a lot of gasoline getting everywhere and stinking up my car for a month???

Why does it now seem that every car, truck, SUV and taxi in Cancun has tinted windows and I never see a cop pulling over a car and pointing at the too dark to see through windows???

Can someone 'splain this to me???

The Transitos are probably afraid to pull over a big SUV with it's windows all tinted.....afraid they'll have UZI for lunch.:biggrinbandit:

If it will keep those little bastids away, I have half a mind to paint my Durango (it's big enough, no?) black, and tint my front windows too!

The proposed law never became law.
