I were looking through some older posts on the forum, I will be at TTR from the 22nd - 29th January. My question is as follows: Is the beach full all of the time? Will there be space all the time (lounge chairs, beds, etc...) Is the pools full all of the time? How full is the Restaurants for reservations? Do I need to make reservations really early? This is my first time and I am really lost on what exactly to expect. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi! The Sexy Pool chairs are reserved really early in the morning, so if you want to be there prepare for an early start! There is however plenty of room on the beach, we tended to stay on the beach within earshot of the Sexy Pool so we could go up there when the games took place. And there's always the Quiet Pool (yawn!). The Sexy Pool is big enough never to get to crowded, although when we went in January is wasn't that warm. You will certainly have to make the effort to reserve the restaurants (10am start), but you can reserve 3 days in advance, and it is well worth it as the food and service is excellent. But you can also just turn up at the TexMex and Fish (actually one of my favouites) and just be prepared to wait for a table. Don't worry about a thing, everything runs smoothly and you will have a great time! (My tan is fading - I'm depressed........)
