We are wondering why does TTR try to get u out of the resort to go to another club in cancun when they have their own club and the party can be done by the hotel guest. Just a simple question.
Easy, money! I agree though we love just hanging out there with friends. Last year hardly anyone stayed. Our last night we had a nice group that stayed in there and had a blast! Pablo took great care of us with drinks! My wife and I were sitting there and he came out with a couple of shots! He is a great bartender.
It just makes sence to stay and have fun at nice shoes with school girl themes nights the lingerie night is great such a turn on for everybody why break the momentum who else agrees with us.
Our first time at TTR, we stayed in every night to party. Met a lot of great people... and besides, with drinks included, why pay to go else where when you can party to 4am...... Tiger at the sexy pool was our Favorite bartendar..... Cant wait to go back!
We stayed at the resort every night last time and had a blast every night! Nice Shoes is dead which is fine with us because we prefer Patty O's anyway. We had a nice time with a nice crowd and we will be doing the same this time.
Don't miss Coco Bongo's but other than that unless you are single and cruising for a hookup then leaving the resort is just throwing money away in my opinion. Most bars are way crowded out in town and they aren't free either. Last year we stayed in almost very night and had a blast even with the smaller swine flu crowd at the resort.
the cost for cover/all ya can drink/tips are getting a little high over the last few years. figure on about $130 or so per night. we hit the clubs 3 out of 4 nights in may-- the better party was at the resort on 2 of these nights. especially with dmac in charge of the nightly events !!!!
The real reason why they get you to go out is the activity staff gets a cut from each band they sell. It's basically there tip money. So your helping support them by going to the clubs. It also saves the resort some money each night. The clubs are fun. Coco Bongos is really a must do. But the prices are really getting up there. For a couple to go out three times during there stay could easily cost you $400-$450+ with tips.
Honestly, we've done the club, and we still are meaning to go to Coco Bongo's; but depending on your group, there is more fun (and free entertainment) at Nice Shoes than out at the clubs, and you ALWAYS feel safe. I've seen women strip down to their undies, I've seen barely clad dancing in the cages, the portable stripper pole is always there (oh, my that gets more and more entertaining as the night goes on) and it is as fun as you make it; especially with a group (or even just a couple couples) And again, I can't stress enough that it's nice to not have to worry about anything, getting groped by icky men (unless you want them to) finding your own way home on the public bus while drunk, losing a member of your party, etc. etc. etc.
