Our plane lands at 3:37PM on a Friday. I am hoping to be checked into our room before 6pm. That should be a perfect time to catch a balcony show while we unpack! I am curious as to who thinks that they hold the record for the fastest time from the plane to the resort.
This last trip was by far our personal best. Immigration was not backed up to the stairs like every other time we have been to Cancun. Made it through immigration, baggage pickup, and customs in under an hour. Fast service from USA transfer, and total time from plane to resort was just over an hour and half. Wish is was always that fast and smooth
Our last trip last December was amazing! We reckon it took just an hour. Immigration was empty! No queue whatsoever. Our baggage was first off, and the usual speedy USA Transfers. No queue at TTR reception, sidestepped our "concierge" LOL and was at the sexy pool before you knew it! :daisy:
We've done it in as few as 45 minutes from landing to hotel arrival... worse case 2 hours.. all depends on how many planes are landing at the same time... mid-week, either wednesday or thursday tends to be faster and easier. Private transport helps too.
If I can, I try to get to the bus while Tom gets the bags and get the front seat on the bus so we get right to concierge first! We arrive at 11am this year so I think we can be patient....not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
45 minutes a couple of times..seats in the front of the plane, no line at immigration and USA Transfers waiting with a Van..hoping for the same in Feb
unfortantly probably us.few years back there was problems with plane we were suppose to be in cancun by 12 in the afternoon.we got there at 1:30 am.no one in airport but our plane..only us in the shuttle so was straight to TTR.
45 minutes with good seats, hustling through the airport, no immigration line and using USA Transfers.
