We are looking into booking options for our first TTR trip in October of this year, and so far alpha rooms does have the best rate. I am in the US and it seems to be a European site. Will that complicate anything on our end? Also, how much does the room choice effect? From what I have read from others accounts, most rooms are the same with the exception of the jacuzzi on the balcony option. Any info you seasoned TTR veterans can offer is much appreciated!
I have used them a few times now with no issues. I always book the lowest room category, and have always loved my room. I'm not in it that much anyway. Don't worry about the twin bed thing. There are no twin beds Just double bed rooms, and those are usually given to singles traveling together, groups of guys or girls.
We use them. You just need to let your bank know. Mine blocks them each time since they are not in US. Simple phone call works wonders with the bank.
We used them for our trip for Oct 2013. We were hesitant at 1st because the price was that much better than the price fom the Temptations website. After asking on line here, and checking the Alpharooms page on facebook, we booked it. we called Temptations and they confirmed the reservation. so, no problems with the booking, we will let you know after Oct how the rest goes, lol...but we think we will be fine. For what its worth we are going with another couple, and they paid more money for their standard room then we paid for our jacuzzi suite. Also, we agree with what someone else said, call your credit card company and advise them of the purchase so they dont block it. See ya there
We have used alpha rooms for the last 5 trips including twice last year and for our trip in one week and also this October. No issues. Pretty easy. If u have any questions just pm me. There area couple of tricks. ;-)
We have used them 3 times and have no issues except this. If you delete your email from them accidentally like I did, the ONLY way to contact them is to CALL. The manage you booking is only good if you have your number. They are the largest web based booking place in the UK and have no email option. REALLY, check it out. I have the receipt on my charge card luckily. If you look at the top of the alpharoom page they even tell you they charge you to talk to them on the phone BY THE MINUTE! On the flip side they often have the best rates.
