Who are the most interesting people you have met at Tempations? I have met some of the greatest people in the world at Tempations, but some are very strange, others are plain out wacky, some are down right crazy and some have unusual jobs or life styles. What a great place to meet people!!!! Terry
I agree!!!! We have met some very nice people on our trips. But the best was when we me Doug and Heather a few years back. People would ask us how long have we been friends. When we told them a couple of days they didn't believe us!!!! That is one of the great things about this forum. When you get to Cancun you already know some great people!!!!!
Good question! For me, I must have met around 2,000 people from cancuncare over the last 5 years or so. There were maybe 10 or so I took an instant dislike to, and maybe another 20 who I ended up not being a fan of longer term. That leaves a hell of a lot of great people, and a very good success rate.
I THINK THE MOST INTERESTING PERSON I EVER MET WAS A TALL SKINNY DUDE NAMED MICHAEL WHO WORE THE SAME SPEEDO EVERY DAY PLAYED ALL THE GAMES ECT.... HE IS FROM ENGLAND AND WORKED AT A CARDBOARD BOX FACTORY !!! ONE MORNING IESHA AND HIM WERE DOING POOLSIDE YOGA AND IESHA WAS LIKE COME JOIN US THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD JOIN THAT CIRCUS!! THIS DUDE DID EVERYTHING EVEN MR Temptation !!! HE WAS A NUT DEFINATLY THE MOST INTERESTING PERSON I MET THERE!!
We definitely met some interesting folks at TTR. One was an older couple who made me think of a retired minister, but when we talked to them we found that they were TTR regulars who come to the resort at least twice a year. Probably the most unique twist to this thread for me is the number of people I've "met" through this forum. There are the people who work with me on the TemptationPics site, J4, diamondheaded, and Jamie, as well as many others that I stay in contact with, yet we have never met face to face. This forum has some pretty neat people involved in it.
We met a very interesting couple from NYC on a trip a couple of years ago. She was an accountant from India, and his uncle was either the President or VP of Pakistan. The Godfather is certainly interesting. Dancing Sean is certainly unique :? Pedro's story (or stories) are different. Lots of other great people that we have gotten to know as friends, and many more we have not yet met.
Plenty of interesting Some strange All Great But plain wacky and out to lunch (with wierd Canadian spelling) would have to be me, lmfao@moi. I have never pretended to normal in any way shape or form...let's call this my apology to those who have had to put up with me Good thing Janice loves me, "that's all I have to say about that" Can't wait to see everyone this Labour day weekend / week
We must have been there at the same time! we also met Micheal and he was different and one of those people you will never forget, but a really nice guy. How about this one, the opera singer that was a hooker, I will never forget her either! Terry
And then there are those that go in and out and back in the success rate, huh? Most interesting person..... that is really tough because there are so many characters that frequent the hotel...... I would say my best friends I have now I met there. And like Steve some of the people I wouldn't mind never seeing again I have met there too. Every year you meet at least one person or couple that you hope you never loose contact with. Usually more than one. Go back several years in a row and that gets a heck of an address book started. Pedro from England... yeah.... Chinos (love him or hate him) has to fit into that category.... and the list goes on..... Everyone you met there is interesting... and no I'm not coping out here, it's true. Some are truly interesting and some just plain weird. But I guess that is what keeps us coming back every year. We just don't want to miss person that came the year we weren't there. Jamie
