SO our first night (after the shows, so like 10:30 pm) we want to hit some of the smaller bars in the hotel zone, any suggestions? I've heard of Slices, Corona, Frogs, etc...Do any of these have a cover? Which have the cheapest drinks? The funnest atmosphere? Oh, also, we can dress very casual at all, right, like shorts and tshirts?

Most of them have a small cover...$10..almost all have an open bar option which includes cover....or you can pay by the drink....there are a number of them...Corona, Slices, XXX, there is one beach club...not sure if it is still open or has changed names...its between the city and coco bongo....senor frogs is a little further up kulkulcan blvd...not much else around it for bars...best to stay in party central if you want to bar hop....no taxis to take until the end of the night...

Sorry I'll finish off your question...yes you can dress casual for most...night time is a little more dressy...cheapest drinks also mean the cheapest alcohol...so you definitly get what you pay for....we usually opt for a top shelf (grey goose..etc)...price is higher but the it pays for itself the next day when you are not dying from a hangover

Not a fan of Senor Frogs! Definitely a tourist trap! I believe the beach bar is part of the City... But I've had a ball at Corona and XXX good music too!!
